Benefits of using DTG:

  • Smaller orders can be printed at a reasonable price

  • Ink binds directly to the fabric, so it feels softer and like it is part of the fabric

DTG is best for:

  • Low quantity orders/short runs
  • Detailed designs with gradients, shading, or lots of colors

DTG Pricing

Here at Saddle Hill, we use a simple and straightforward discount tiers for our DTG pricing. Note that this pricing is based on one design. Three shirts with one design and three of another will not qualify for the 6 – 50 pricing. Pricing DOES NOT INCLUDE the goods to be printed. You can purchase them yourself and have them shipped to us, OR we are happy to provide a quote with the cost of goods included.

Inches refers to a square print area. Your pricing will depend on which size print area your design will fit into.

 DTG Sizing & Print Areas

  • Maximum print area size for youth sized tees is 10×12”
  • Maximum print area size for adult sized tees is 14×18”
  • Maximum print area size for tote bags is 10×10”

Additional Services & Fees

  • Artwork Setup Per-Design (applicable if design is not print-ready): $45.00
  • Graphic Design (1 hour minimum): $65.00 per hour
  • Color Change (Text-only): $10.00
  • Pricing above is for a SINGLE LOCATION only. Additional print locations are available at an additional cost.

General Information & Guidelines

  • All orders begin processing the next business day AFTER the order is received.
  • Production Time: 3-9 Business days from receipt of art, merchandise, and approval.
    • Rush Services are available – contact us for a quote if you require a rush option.
    • We offer a selection of items for purchase through us to save time if needed.
  • Any order that requires personalization (different design for each item) will be subject to an additional 7 business days for production.
  • Any merchandise unclaimed over 3 months will be donated to a local charity.
  • Invoices must be paid before ANY production begins.
  • Saddle Hill is not responsible for color clashing with garment colors and design.
  • DTG Printing uses water base inks and does NOT produce neon colors.
  • Additional options like metallic foil, etc. may be available at an additional cost.

Goods Requirements

  • We can print on tees, tote bags, tea towels, and more.
  • 100% Cotton, up to 50/50 cotton/poly blend (no less than 50% cotton).
  • Include the details for your goods so that we can ensure they will work prior to placing an order.
  • No garment can be treated with a stain resistant/waterproofing chemical.
  • Dye lots may affect print quality in an order.

 Art Guidelines

  • Saddle Hill is not liable in any way for any customer supplied artwork. We print artwork at your requested size and are not responsible for poor quality artwork, typos, incorrect colors, stray pixels, etc. We do our best to monitor production to catch any errors and halt printing when and if possible.
  • DTG Printing is a digital process and color or pantone matching is not available.
  • We accept all high resolution (300 dpi or higher) artwork in the following formats:
    • TIFF, PNG, PSD, PDF, AI, or EPS
  • Artwork must have a transparent background with layers.
  • Converting artwork with 72 dpi to 300 dpi will result in poor quality printing.
  • White in the image WILL PRINT AS WHITE on the goods.
  • We cannot print over seams or zippers.

Additional Terms

  • Allow for 2% margin for error for goods. Refunds will be provided for “dud” prints (not goods).
  • Price quote does not include any applicable state taxes.
  • Free samples are not available due to the time required to set up artwork and produce the sample. We are happy to provide a sample at full retail pricing.
  • Saddle Hill is not responsible for anything other than providing the correct garment, print size, artwork, etc. Fitting, mis-treatment or ill-advised washing, customer returns, etc. are your responsibility.

Shipping & Receiving:

  • Local Pickup: You are welcome to pick up your order and save on shipping costs.
  • Shipping Cost: Shipping Costs are based on weight, dimensions, and address. We use USPS/FedEx for shipping (whichever is lesser cost). Be sure to let us know if we are shipping to a residence or business address.
  • Wrong Address: You are responsible for providing a correct address. Any returned packages or redirects may be subject to shipping cost again along with a $30.00 fee.
  • Shipping Insurance: Contact us for a quote if you would like to include shipping insurance on your package (recommended for international shipments).
  • Drop Shipping: We are happy to drop ship your order to various locations. Cost for drop shipping is $8.50 per location.
  • Goods Sorting: If you require shirts to be sorted and separated by size and/or design, you will be charged an additional $0.40 per piece.
  • Goods Unpacking: Any goods that require us to remove bags, tags, or pins will incur an additional $0.40 charge per piece.
